7th Tradition Contributions

The CSO is now accepting one-time and recurring 7th Tradition contributions online via PayPal below (a PayPal account is not required for one-time contributions, you can use any credit/debit card). Contributions can still be made in person at the CSO during Office Administrator hours via cash, check and credit/debit cards. Contributions via check can also be made by mail (3640 South Cedar Street Ste S, Tacoma, WA 98409).

The Seventh Tradition states: “Every A.A. group ought to be fully self-supporting, declining outside contributions.” While contributions cover each group's rent and other expenses, the Seventh Tradition is essential at every level of A.A. service. It is both a privilege and a responsibility for groups and members to ensure that not only their group, but also their intergroup/central office, local services, district, area, and the General Service Office remain self-supporting. This keeps A.A. free of outside influences that might divert us from our primary purpose — to help the alcoholic who still suffers. The amount of our contribution is secondary to the spiritual connection that unites all groups around the world.

Please consider setting up a recurring contribution to become a Faithful Fiver. Faithful Fivers are A.A. members who choose to contribute five dollars each month to support the Central Service Office in its efforts to carry the A.A. message of hope and recovery to the still suffering alcoholic.
